Online Diagnostic Radiology Elective

Description

The goal of this two-week elective is to educate 3rd and 4th year medical students regarding different modalities in radiology. Students will learn and review many basic medical diagnoses and radiographic findings using freely available websites and online modules. Additional focus will also be provided on radiographic anatomy including x-rays, CT scans, and MRI. Free online resources will be used divided into daily modalities including an introduction to imaging, chest imaging, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, pediatrics, abdominal CT, neuroradiology, and other modalities and sections. Students will be asked to provide proof of their completion of various portions of the modules either through screenshots of completion or completion of freely available online quizzes.
