Champion for Change - Advocacy (Student Leadership Elective Module #7)

This is the seventh module of a student leadership elective designed by and for medical students at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Through participation in these modules, medical students will practice skills necessary for becoming effective leaders both in and outside the field of medicine. In this module, students will explore different types of advocacy and their own personal advocacy interests. By the end of this module, students will have established an advocacy mentorship relationship and drafted a project/event proposal to further an advocacy goal. Completing this module will help students gain leadership experience beyond classic medical practice.
