- The Ad Hoc Group for Medical Research sent a letter

and the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) regarding
sequestration's impact on NIH.
- The Alliance of AACR Presidents sent a letter
to Congressional leadership alerting them to the devastating impact
of sequestration. The letter urges leaders to sequestration and
to make cancer research and biomedical science a national priority.
- Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) President and
CEO, Darrell Kirch, M.D., expressed concern about the impact of
sequestration on programs of interest to medical schools and teaching
hospitals, such as NIH, in a letter
to House and Senate leaders.
- Friends of Maternal and Child Health letter
urging Congress to avoid sequestration and address the deficit
through a balanced approach, otherwise research on costly diseases

cut.

research.
Please Note: If you have any sequestration resources you would
