Learn Serve Lead 2018 Highlights
More than 4,600 attendees came to Austin for Learn Serve Lead 2018: The AAMC Annual Meeting. It was a busy four days for our community of educators, learners, researchers, patient care providers, administrators, and health system leaders as they shared innovations and insight during more than 130 education sessions and 80 networking events.
Clinician well-being, advocacy and activism, the importance of providing affordable health care solutions, and fostering diversity in academic medicine were just a few of the subject areas presented at the meeting.
We encourage you to take advantage of your new connections by interacting with them through social media and to continue to share insights, favorite quotes, and photos from the week using #AAMC18.

Voices of Medicine and Society Series and Other Highlighted Lectures
The Voices of Medicine and Society, supported by the Robert G. Petersdorf Fund, is a series of compelling discussions led by innovative scholars and fresh thinkers who don’t accept the status quo. The lineup last year included sessions that take a hard look at the practice of medicine, amplify the voice of the patient, and question some of our long-held practices and beliefs within the academic medicine community and society at large.
