Call for Proposals Open Until November 19, 2019
The 2020 Regional Medical Campus Conference, hosted by the AAMC Group on Regional Medical Campuses (GRMC), is the foremost professional development and networking opportunity for leaders of regional medical campuses.
This conference was previously known as the GRMC Spring Meeting but has been updated in 2020 to more clearly describe the program. It continues to welcome individuals with roles, responsibilities, and interests related to regional medical campuses, and serves as a forum to share and develop strategies for meeting organizational goals.
The Program Planning Committee is currently seeking sessions, presentations, and posters for the agenda and invites you to submit proposals. Proposals must be submitted no later than 11:59 pm ET on Tuesday November 19, 2019. Proposals may be submitted in the form of sessions/workshops, small group discussions, innovation presentation proposals, research posters, and innovation posters.
Topics at the Conference will include:
- Curricular innovations and delivery
- Community faculty recruitment, retention, and development
- Community engagement
- Distance learning methods
- Scholarship programs
- Campus infrastructure models
- Intra-institutional dynamics
- Delivering education in varied clinical settings
- Approaches for accreditation
Who can attend?
Attendance is available to anyone affiliated with an AAMC member institution, a non-profit medical education or professional organization, hospital/health system or a college or university with interests or responsibilities related to regional campuses and community-based education. Main campus attendees are also encouraged to submit proposals and attend.
