    Supplemental ERAS Application Data and Reports: These data and reports provide a summary of the current analysis of the supplemental ERAS application for the operational pilot year. This data collection will include the advisor and applicant reaction surveys, program directors’ feedback, and an evaluation of the supplemental ERAS application sections (past experiences, geographic information, and preference signals). Results will be used to assess application content for ERAS 2023.

    2020 GSA Annual Report (Sign-In Required): Information in this report includes the 2019 GSA National Chair's report, GSA National Committee reports, GSA regional reports, and a report from the AAMC Office on Student Affairs and Programs.

    Recommendations for Revising the Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE): In an effort to improve the residency application process for both medical schools and residency programs - and with the needs of the student applicant in mind - the AAMC and leading members of the medical education and graduate medical education community have issued recommendations to change the Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE). The recommendations include use of a new template that provides relevant, concise, and comparative data about an applicant’s professional and academic performance and facilitates holistic assessment of applicants.

    AAMC Uniform Clinical Training Affiliation Agreement: Endorsed by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) at its June 2014 meeting, the Uniform Agreement facilitates opportunities for third and fourth year medical students to learn in a clinical setting.

    Infectious Diseases Handbook for Medical School Affairs Officers (PDF): This handbook contains information on medical schools can teach the subject as well as best practices used for infectious diseases.

    Ensuring Medical Education Compliance with State Authorization: In an effort to inform both medical school institutions and students about state authorization and the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA), the AAMC Office of Government Relations has developed a resource for away elective clerkships. The Ensuring Medical Education Compliance with State Authorization resource is designed to provide GSA and Organization of Student Representatives (OSR) representatives with guidance to ensure compliance for clinical rotations across state lines.

    GSA Member Handbook (Sign In Required): A comprehensive online resource for GSA members that includes handbooks for the Admissions Officer, the Financial Aid Officer, the Student Affairs Officer, the Student Diversity Affairs, and the Student Records Administrator. The new resource also includes handbooks for the regional groups, as well as AAMC services and initiatives, GSA organizational structure, GSA representatives roles and responsibilities, and contact information for AAMC staff. The GSA will continue to evaluate and refresh the resources available to you and welcomes your feedback.
