Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) in Medical Education: Reports from the Field
EMRs are a core part of our medical care delivery system and EMRs have been adopted by the majority of clinical units in academic medical centers. This presentation highlighted a number of AAMC institutions that have taken the additional step of leveraging the EMR as an environment for teaching.

Taking Analytics to Action
Every medical institution collects oceans of data across healthcare operations, clinical quality, research and medical education. Data analytics across the three missions have a common goal of driving patient safety and quality improvement whether its research informatics that leads to better treatment options or educational data the drives improvements in training new providers or clinical outcomes assessment that provides comparisons for today’s health care providers.
