The 2016 Information Technology in Academic Medicine Conference, sponsored by the Group on Information Resources (GIR), was held for the academic medicine technology and data community to share how they address challenges and develop successful strategies for meeting organizational goals.

Information technology is a strategic asset essential to the growth and success of medical schools and teaching hospitals and this event will offered valuable peer learning opportunities on critical community topics through breakout sessions, posters, discussions, and digital demonstrations.
