The 2014 Information Technology in Academic Medicine Conference, sponsored by the AAMC Group on Information Resources (GIR), was the premier event of 2014 for the academic medicine technology community to share how they address various challenges and develop successful strategies for meeting organizational goals in the health professions community.

With information technology continuing to evolve as a strategic asset, essential to the growth and success of medical schools, health sciences schools, and teaching hospitals, this forum provided valuable opportunities for attendees to connect, share, and learn from one another on topics vital to our community.

Topics this year included:

  • Challenges and Opportunities of Technology in a Learning Health System
