The GIP membership is comprised of a diverse group of over 600 leaders responsible for all aspects of institutional planning and everyone has a unique story to tell. The following GIP member profiles shine a spotlight on some of the work being done by GIP members at academic medical centers and teaching hospitals from across the country. Data Symposium

This DATA symposium explored how to move an Academic Medical Center (AMC) from a moderate user of data to an active user of data and analytic tools in the decision making process. Participants learned different approaches and discover how to overcome the challenges common to planning and developing data-driven teams, tools, and dashboards within an academic medical environment through formal presentations, active learning exercises, and case studies.
