2017 NEGEA Call for Collaborative Research Grant Proposals

The Northeast Group on Educational Affairs (NEGEA) supports and encourages scholarship in medical education. To help its members participate in opportunities that provide educational scholarship, the NEGEA provides funding to initiate new Medical Education Scholarship Research and Evaluation (MESRE – formerly RIME) proposals.

The NEGEA will provide multiple research grants for up to a two-year period. The grant award may total up to $3,000 for submissions involving one NEGEA institution and $6,000 for submissions involving the collaboration of two or more NEGEA-affiliated institutions. NEGEA also seeks to promote collaborative projects across institutions, and sections (UGME, GME, CME/CEI, and MESRE), and seeks to stimulate the development of a community of educational scholars. The results of these projects will be public and presented at a NEGEA regional meeting.

The submission period closes September 29, 2017, at 11:59 p.m. ET

For more information and submission instructions, download the 2017 Call Guidelines  and NEGEA Budget Template
