Academic Medicine Investment in Medical Research Webinar

In June 2015, ROCC hosted a free webinar designed to help demystify indirect costs and institutional investment in research. Laura Yaeger, Managing Director from Huron Consulting Group, presented survey results from 46 medical schools concerning their total investment in the research mission. The findings illustrated the key components of institutional investment in research including startup packages and bridge funding. Download the presentation. 

Research in Residency Meeting

The AAMC and Research on Care Community hosted a meeting on May 28, 2015 which convened teams from institutions interested in enhancing their residency research experience. The goal of the meeting was to create a customized learning environment, matching learners with experts as a means to gather the information and strategies needed to enhance the research experience of their residency programs.
