The Research on Care Community (ROCC) is an AAMC-member organization whose members share an interest in integrating research into care delivery. They include a range of leaders from academic medicine, such as CEOs, deans, chief medical officers, vice presidents, chairs, and other faculty.

2017 FDA Science Forum Highlights Scientific Research
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, MD, highlighted the importance of scientific research during his May 31 remarks at the 2017 FDA Science Forum, stating that promoting creativity and efficiency, attracting top-quality scientists, and allowing them to conduct cutting-edge research are among his highest priorities. The FDA is formulating new guidance concerning regenerative medicine and seeks to advance standards in these areas to help move products forward. Read More.
