The annual June Integrating Quality Conference and the webinar series are designed to support academic medical centers with integrating quality, patient safety, and high-value care across their care delivery, education, and research missions.


Annual Integrating Quality Conference

Each year the AAMC hosts the Integrating Quality Conference – the professional development event for clinical and educational leaders, faculty, educators, trainees, and students from across the health professions in academic medicine who are advancing health care quality, patient safety, and high-value care innovations.

This is a highly interactive, interprofessional conference focused on sharing integrative approaches and strategies for improving and implementing best practices. There will be ample opportunities for participants to network and learn new ways to advance the quality, patient safety, and value initiatives in their institutions and beyond.

  • Call for Abstracts: Mid-November to Late December 2018
  • Abstract Acceptance Notices: February 2019
  • Registration Opens; Book Hotel & Travel: March to May 2019

Who Should Attend?

This meeting is designed for those who are working to improve value, quality, and patient safety at academic medical centers, teaching hospitals, health professions schools, and other health care organizations. Attendees include chief quality officers, chief medical officers, chief academic officers, DIOs, clinical faculty, medical educators, quality and patient safety leaders and specialists, researchers, trainees, students and many more from across the health professions.
