Medical schools are committed to advancing diversity and inclusion as it advances educational objectives and prepares a culturally responsive physician workforce.  Many institutions are focused on increasing their engagement of Native American premedical and medical students; however, may struggle with how to implement and sustain the best approaches.  This webinar, co-sponsored with the Association of American Indian Physicians, will provide an overview of the national data and expert insight on how to develop or enhance existing efforts based on effective practices on both institutional and national levels.

Webinar learning objectives include:
• Understand the context for enhancing engagement of American Indian and Alaska Native communities
• Learn about data and resources focused on American Indian and Alaska Natives along the medical education continuum
• Increase knowledge to apply effective practices learned from Native focused programs to advance diversity and inclusion
