Project CORE uses EMR-based tools, known as eConsults and enhanced referrals, to improve quality of care and the patient experience, resulting in improved access to care. Currently, nearly 2 million primary care patients at participating academic medical centers will benefit from more timely clinical input from specialists, in addition to experiencing greater convenience and savings.
