2015-2016 First-Year Residents

The table below displays statistics on USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 Content Knowledge (CK) scores for first-year residents in 2015-2016. For example, while 9.0 percent of first-year anesthesiology residents had Step 2 CK scores above 259, only 1.7 percent had both Step 1 and Step 2 CK scores above 259. Tables are available for ACGME-accredited pipeline specialties (i.e., specialties that lead to initial board certification). Data for Step 1 and Step 2 CK scores are limited to graduates of U.S. and Canadian medical schools. Please contact with any comments or questions.
