    Advisory Services

    AIM and AIM Connect

The Alliance and AAHCI offer a range of peer-to-peer consulting options for members in virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats.

The Aligned Institutional Mission (AIM) Program and AIM CONNECT consultants are distinguished leaders who have held major leadership roles at academic health centers. They have an in-depth understanding of the important challenges that academic health center leaders must face in both managing complicated health systems and enhancing the alignment of research, education, and patient care.

Alliance and AAHCI members receive two complimentary AIM CONNECT sessions each membership year, and expanded virtual consulting packages are available for members at deeply discounted rates. To schedule a complimentary consultation or learn more, contact us at aahci@aamc.org.

    AIM Program

Set and meet strategic goals, measure organization alignment, and benchmark success.

Participants in the full one-year AIM Program commit to completing a self-assessment using the AIM Program Tool and undergoing a peer review consulting period (including an in-person visit) followed by an action plan and strategic improvement planning period. The program is not a “one size fits all,” but rather is tailored to benefit each institution no matter size, finances, or stage of development.
