The House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee will resume the Oct 8 hearing entitled "Examining Legislative Proposals to Combat our Nation's Drug Abuse Crisis." Director of Office of National Drug Control Policy Michael Botticelli; Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation for U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Dr. Richard Frank; and Acting Deputy Administrator for the Drug Enforcement Administration Jack Riley, will testify.

Oct. 21: Energy and Commerce Subcommittee Hearing on Medicare Part D
10 a.m.; 2125 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing examining the Medicare Part D medication therapy management program. A witness list, and witness testimony will be available on the committee website.

Oct. 22: House VA Health Subcommittee Hearing on VA Primary Care

The House Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Subcommittee will hold a hearing on evaluating VA primary care delivery, workload and cost. When available, an agenda will be posted on the committee’s website.
