Sept. 16: Senate HELP Hearing on Health IT
10 a.m.; 430 Dirksen Senate Office Building, Washington D.C.
The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee will hold a hearing titled “Achieving the Promise of Health Information Technology: Improving Care Through Patient Access to Their Records.” Witness testimony will be posted the committee’s website when available.

Sept. 16: Senate VA Hearing on Pending Health Care Legislation
2:30 p.m.; SR-418 Russell Senate Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs (VA) will hold a hearing to discuss various pieces of legislation pertaining to Veterans’ health care.

Sept. 17: Senate HELP Subcommittee Hearing on Biosimilar Implementation
10 a.m.; 430 Dirksen Senate Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Subcommittee on Primary Health and Retirement Security will hold a hearing on the progress of biosimilar implementation. Food and Drug Administration Center for Drug Evaluation and Research Director Janet Woodcock, M.D., will testify.

Sept 17: MACPAC Public Meeting
Time: TBD; 1 Massachusetts Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C.
The Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Policy (CHIP) Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC) will hold a public meeting to discuss various policy recommendations. A meeting agenda will be posted to the commission’s website when available.

Sept. 18: PCAST Public Meeting
9:30 a.m.; 2101 Constitution Ave, N.W., Washington, D.C.
The President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) will meet to discuss policy recommendations. A full agenda will be posted to the council’s website when available. 

Sept. 18: FACA Precision Medicine Task Force
10:00 a.m.; Location: TBA
Federal Advisory Committees (FACA) will host a meeting for the Precision Medicine Task Force. When available, FACA will solicit comments on the agenda via its website. Web Conference is available.
