The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Board of Governors will meet via teleconference/webinar to review bylaws, charter revisions, and panel appointments for various advisory committees. There will be no public comment period.

April 22: HIT Standards Committee Meeting
9 a.m.; 10 Thomas Circle N.W., Washington, D.C.
The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology (HIT) Standards Committee will meet to discuss recommendations on standards, implementation specifications, and certification criteria for the electronic exchange and use of health information.

April 23: Senate Finance Subcommittee Hearing on Medical Device Tax

The Senate Finance Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing titled “A Fresh Look at the Impact of the Medical Device Tax on Jobs, Innovation, and Patients.” Witness testimony will be posted to the committee website when available.
