Dec. 8: PCORI Board of Governors Meeting

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Board of Governors will hold a meeting. A full agenda will be posted on PCORI’s website when available.

Dec. 9: House Committee Hearing on ACA Enrollment
9:30 a.m.; 2154 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will hold a hearing to discuss health care enrollment numbers. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator, Marilyn Tavenner, is scheduled to testify, among others. Testimony will be posted to the committee’s website when available.

Dec. 9: House Subcommittee Hearing on Health Care Budgetary Priorities
10:30 a.m.; 2123 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing on fiscal priorities. Testimony will be posted to the committee’s website when available.

Dec. 9: Health IT Policy Committee Web Conference
12 p.m.; Webinar
The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) Health Information Technology (HIT) Policy Committee will meet via webinar to discuss recommendations to the National Coordinator for Health IT on a policy framework for the development and adoption of a nationwide health information infrastructure, including standards for the exchange of patient medical information.

Dec. 10: Health IT Standards Committee Meeting

The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology (HIT) Standards Committee will host a meeting to discuss standards implementation specifications and certification criteria for the electronic exchange of health information.

Dec. 11-12: MACPAC Meeting
9:30 a.m.; 1 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington, D.C.
The Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Payment Access Commission (MACPAC) will hold a public meeting. The agenda is available on the MACPAC website, where they also accept public comments.

Dec. 11-12: NIH Advisory Committee Meeting
8:30 a.m.; 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Md.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) will hold the 109th meeting of the Advisory Committee to the Director (ACD) to discuss Ebola, workforce diversity, and other various initiatives. A draft agenda for the meeting is available on the NIH website.
