April 1-5: House and Senate Recess
The House and Senate will be in recess through April 5. The Senate will resume session on April 8, followed by the House on April 9.

April 3: House Hearing on Helping Americans with Pre-Existing Conditions
1 p.m.; 2322 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C.
The House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health will hold a hearing entitled, “Protecting America’s Sick and Chronically Ill.” The hearing will examine problems with the Affordable Care Act (ACA)’s Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Program (PCIP) and solutions to help Americans with chronic conditions and diseases obtain affordable coverage.

April 4-5: MedPAC Meeting
TBD; 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C.
The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) will hold a public meeting April 4-5. When available, MedPAC will solicit comments on the agenda via its Web site.
