The Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues will hold its eleventh meeting to discuss ethical issues associated with the development of medical countermeasures for children. The meeting will take place November 5 and 6 at University of Chicago and will be webcast live.

Nov. 7: HIT Policy Committee Meeting
10: 30 a.m.; 2500 Calvert Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.
The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (HIT) policy committee will meet to discuss recommendations to the National Coordinator for Health IT on a policy framework for the development and adoption of a nationwide health information infrastructure, including standards for the exchange of patient medical information.
