March 13: Senate Subcommittee Hearing on Great Ape Protection and Cost Savings Act

The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, Subcommittee on Water and Wildlife, will hold a hearing on six pending bills, including the Great Apes Protection and Cost Savings Act of 2011 (S. 810). Among two panels of witnesses is James M. Anderson, M.D., Ph.D., director of the NIH Division of Program Coordination, Planning, and Strategic Initiatives.

March 20: House Appropriations Hearing on NIH Budget
10:30 a.m.; 2358-C Rayburn House Office Building; Washington, D.C.
The House Committee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies will hold a hearing on the FY 2013 budget for NIH.
