The AAMC has developed a new resource illustrating how academic medicine plays a unique and pivotal role in the U.S. health care system. The providers and institutions that constitute the AAMC’s membership, including approximately 400 teaching health systems and hospitals and more than 150 medical schools, are critical to advancing academic medicine’s four missions.
