Constance M. Filling, EdD, leads the AAMC’s Member Learning and Engagement cluster, which provides AAMC members and affinity groups with the education, training, research, and clinical care models needed to succeed in the emerging health care environment. She also oversees the team for Learn Serve Lead: The AAMC Annual Meeting.
Filling has more than 20 years’ experience leading professional educational activities, including performance consulting in both commercial and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to joining the AAMC, she served as the chief education officer for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the College of American Pathologists.
Filling earned her bachelor of arts from Cornell College, her master of arts from the University of Chicago, and her doctorate in education from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.
