Harnessing ChatGPT to Create Multiple Choice Questions

This resource provides a 90-minute workshop for using ChatGPT to develop multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for medical educators. It is designed to help busy educators create AI-generated MCQs targeted to their course and curricular needs.

The slides include a short background on AI and ethical issues, peer-reviewed resources for using ChatGPT, and guidance on integrating the AI-generated MCQs into teaching and assessments responsibly. Timing and speaker notes are indicated.

The handout includes prompts so attendees can copy and paste them directly into ChatGPT, making the format transferable across institutions and flexible for virtual or in-person formats.
