Careers in Medicine and Your SchoolThe AAMC developed the CiM program and provides print and Web-based resources to support the implementation through the central administrative offices of each medical school. Typically, this is the student affairs office. Most of the nation's medical schools have appointed a liaison to coordinate the activities associated with the school's program. The liaison, often the assistant dean of student affairs, is responsible for:
Student Guides are printed each year and are made available free to all incoming students entering U.S. medical schools. In addition, an Advisor Manual is also available to guide liaisons and advisors as they build, promote, and provide the services included in the program. To obtain an advisor, receive a Student Guide, or get help with registering on the CiM Web site, contact your CiM Liaison. |
