How can I download the Roster of Applicants into Excel?

  1. On the Roster of Applicants query screen, click on the "Download Roster?" checkbox to the right of the Application Year selection drop-down menu.
  2. Select your search criteria, certify the Statement of Confidentiality, and click "Initiate Query."
  3. You will be prompted by a pop-up window to open or save the Roster of Applicants file. Click "Save."
  4. Indicate the folder in which you wish to save your Roster and choose a name for the Roster. Note that the file you are saving is a text file.
  5. You will be prompted by a pop-up window to open the file, open the folder, or close the pop-up window. Click "Close."
  6. Open Excel.
  7. Within Excel, open your document (noting again that file you are saving is a text file) and select a file type of either "All Files" or "Text Files."
  8. You will be prompted by Excel's "Text" Import Wizard to follow a three-step process. On the first of the three Wizard windows, click on the "Delimited" radio button, and click "Next."
  9. On the next Wizard window, you will be asked to select the delimiter used in your Roster file. Unselect "Tab."
  10. Select "Other," and in the "Other" entry box enter a pipe delimiter ("|"), located as the keyboard's shift option on the key beneath your "Backspace" key. Click "Next."
  11. Click "Finish."

What are the requirements for creating a password?

The first character of a password must be alphabetic.

When I print my AIS reports, data on the right of the page is cut off. What can I do to correct this?

AIS Reports, including the Roster of Applicants and School Statistics, must be printed using a Landscape layout orientation. Printing with a Portrait layout orientation will prohibit you from viewing all data.
