ERAS DWS License Agreement

Notice
The AAMC licenses the ERAS 2009 Dean's Office Workstation (DWS) software to you only upon condition that you accept all of the terms contained in this license agreement. Please read the terms carefully before installing the software. Upon installation you will be prompted to indicate your agreement with the terms of this license by pressing the I Agree button that appears during the licensing portion of the installation. If you do not agree with these terms, please press the Exit Installation button to exit the install, as the AAMC is unwilling to license the software to you.

License And Warranty
The ERAS 2009 Dean's OfficeWorkstation (DWS) software which accompanies this license (the "Software") is the property of the AAMC and is protected by copyright law. While the AAMC continues to own the Software, you will have certain rights to use the Software after your acceptance of this license. The Software is provided with a limited license for the express purpose of transmitting student data and supporting documents and performing other functions in support of application to programs in 2008-2009. Any other use is strictly prohibited. The Software cannot be duplicated except for backup purposes as related to an application. The Software cannot be sold, decompiled, reverse engineered, or otherwise modified. You may not make any attempt to discover the source code of the Software or create derivative works from the Software. The Software cannot be demonstrated or used in training or simulations without permission of AAMC. Installation or use of the Software constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Disclamer of Damages
Regardless of whether any remedy set forth herein fails of its essential purpose, in no event will the AAMC be liable to you for any special, consequential, indirect or similar damages, including any lost profits or lost data arising out of the use or inability to use the Software even if the AAMC has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. The disclaimers and limitations set forth above will apply regardless of whether you accept the Software.
