Vista Users

When installing the PDWS on a Vista operating system for the first time, you will encounter a Program Compatibility Assistant message. This is due to the PDF printer driver ERAS uses. Please ignore this message by selecting, This program installed correctly to complete the set-up installation. If you run the set-up again on the Vista machine, Vista will remember the setting and the message will not appear again. This is a known issue with Vista and does not prevent the PDWS from functioning correctly.

Macintosh Users

PDWS software is not available as a Macintosh native application. If you are able to use other applications designed to work with Windows, then you may be able to run the PDWS. Please note, however, that ERAS does not have support staff trained in the use of the Macintosh computer line and cannot provide technical support for the Macintosh.

File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Access

Programs need to have FTP (File Transfer Protocol) access to the ERAS PostOffice to retrieve the applications. If you can connect to the Internet from your computer, you should be able to receive your files.
