Web Watch NIH Publishes Stem Cell Guidelines This NIH Web site can be an important tool for anyone who wants to learn more about stem cell research. The site features the recently released "NIH Guidelines for Research using Human Pluripotent Stem Cells" and the "Approval Process for the Use of Human Pluripotent Stem Cells in NIH-Supported Research." In addition to a fact sheet and press release about the new guidelines, the site includes a stem cell primer, which defines various buzzwords and furnishes explanation on the basic scientific, medical, and ethical issues that surround stem cell research.
