Gates Foundation Gives $40 Million for Vaccine Development: The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has awarded grants of $20 million each to the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health to develop a measles vaccine for infants. University of Miami to Create Genetics Research Center: With a $12.5 million grant from the Dr. John T. Frank Family Pledges $10 Million to the University of Chicago: The Mrs. Zollie S.
