4th Annual Photography
Competition

The fourth annual competition will feature creative photography that reflects the theme "The Healing Touch: Making a Difference in the Lives of Patients." Medical students and residents are encouraged to submit their original photographs that illustrate service to patients and the community as a whole. The grand prize winner will receive $500!

A panel of visual arts and communications specialists will judge submissions, and the winner and 10 runners-up will be featured in upcoming issues of the Reporter.

Contest Rules:

• Photographs can be in color or black & white and must be slides or high-quality prints. Submissions will not be returned.
• Each entry should be accompanied by the following information:

1. name, institution, contact information, and student/resident's year in training;
2. date and location of photograph; and
3. photographer's commentary/explanation about the image in 50 or fewer words.

• Entrants may submit more than one image for judging.
• The AAMC retains the rights to publish all entries in other media.

Entries must be received by July 10, 2001.
