Finding the Latest on Telemedicine The Telemedicine Information Exchange (TIE) is an important tool for anyone involved with telemedicine. The site, which is maintained by the Telemedicine Research Center with major support from the National Library of Medicine, features bibliographic, program, and funding databases. The bibliographic database features 8,654 citations and claims to be the most comprehensive collection of telemedicine literature anywhere. The funding database includes funding sources in both the government and private sectors. The TIE site also keeps a current calendar of meetings and allows the reader to submit meetings to the calendar.
