The AAMC Reporter is sponsoring its 6th annual photography contest. This year’s theme will be “Portraits of Medical Education,” which can be photographs of medical students, their mentors, patients — anyone who embodies the essential experience of medical education. The grand prize is $500, and the winning photo will be published in the AAMC Reporter, which will also publish runners-up throughout the 2003-2004 academic year.
The contest is open to medical students, faculty, and residents. Photos must be high-quality prints or slides and can be color or black & white. Photos will become property of the AAMC, which retains rights to publish photos in other media, and will not be returned.
Participants may submit up to two (2) entries and should include a description of 50 words or less. Entries must include the photographer’s name, titles, degrees, department, year of study or residency (as applicable), and the date and location of the photograph.
