AAMC Annual Meeting Session to Focus on Labor Organizing for Doctors


WHAT: E. Ratcliffe Anderson, M.D., executive vice president of the American Medical Association, will discuss why and how the AMA decided to create the Physicians for Responsible Negotiation, a labor organization designed to assist doctors with their collective bargaining efforts. The AAMC has aggressively opposed the ability of medical residents to unionize.
