AAMC To Present Analysis of BBA Impact on U.S. Teaching Hospitals
WHAT: The impact of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 (BBA) on U.S. teaching hospitals and the current financial difficulties many of these institutions face will be discussed at a media briefing sponsored by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). The briefing will review the current and projected impact of the BBA and the need for immediate and substantive policy corrections.
