Salutations from the WEST!

Registration is open for the upcoming 2009 AAMC Annual meeting to be held in Boston, MA. You can register online and preview the OSR meeting program.

Please start making your reservations for travel and lodgings as hotel availability will quickly diminish.

The third edition of "Charting Outcome in the Match" (PDF, 281 pages) has just been released. Please pass this resource along to other students and faculty at your respective institutions.

After a successful Western Regional Meeting in Santa Fe, our eyes have turned to next year's joint regional meeting in Austin, Texas! We have begun planning for the meeting. If you have any ideas or questions about the meeting that will be held Spring 2010, feel free to ask me or Hershey Avula, our Western Regional Chair-Elect.

With the changing landscape of health care in this country, now is an especially important time to be aware of the ongoing debate in health care policy. Please take advantage of the updates produced by the OSR Legislative Affairs team headed by Bryan Harris. You can find these updates conveniently in your email inboxes.
