Medical School Finance Data

AAMC Medical School Profile System (MSPS) provides data on medical school finances. You can build departmental or institutional level data reports based on your needs. The following is a brief summary of the types of data available.

Basic Science Departmental Data Report

This report system enables you to compare basic science departmental level data on selected financial support items--research grants, endowment, state funds, other school of medicine funds, and selected ratios, such as research grants dollars per faculty member.

Clinical Science Departmental Data Report

This report system enables you to compare clinical science departmental level data on selected financial support items — research grants, endowment, state funds, other school of medicine funds, and selected ratios, such as research grants dollars per faculty member.

Medical School Profile Report

This report compares institutional level data on the following dimensions: hospital support, federal support, state appropriations, tuition revenues, and research grants.
