Curriculum

AAMC's Curriculum Management & Information Tool (CurrMIT) is a password-protected, online database that provides useful comparisons of curricula among U.S. and Canadian medical schools. This database enables users to analyze the nation's trends in medical education and to support the efficient use of successful curriculum reform strategies by documenting ongoing reform and innovation, list information on course directors to foster networking about courses, and more.

This database is designed for use by Associate Deans for Medical Education, curriculum managers, faculty and medical education researchers. Access is provided through the office of medical education (or equivalent) at each school. For further information, contact your medical school's office of medical education or email the CurrMIT helpline: helpcurrmit@aamc.org

Student Educational Experience

AAMC conducts an annual survey, the Graduation Questionnaire (GQ), that investigates students' overall experiences in medical schools. The survey's 32 questions assess more than 200 items on a wide variety of topics. These include educational experiences, student support programs, and potential problems, including harassment. The GQ also gathers information on student debt and career plans. Data is analyzed for each school, compared across schools, and then reported to each participating school.

To access data from this survey, please visit All School Report.
