The AAMC's Group on Regional Medical Campuses will hold its spring meeting in San Diego, CA, March 9 - 12, 2010. The program is designed to provide opportunities for sharing information about regional campus growth and development, exchanging practical experiences and best practices with peers from regional campuses around the country, and discussing the important role regional medical schools play in educating future physicians.

In addition to campus deans, all faculty and staff of regional medical campuses as well as anyone interested in regional medical education are invited and encouraged to attend the meeting.

Call for Proposals

GRMC Spring Meeting March 3 - 9, 2009 San Diego, California

The theme for this year's spring meeting is Value Added: What Regional Campuses Provide to Our Students, Faculty, Hospital Systems, Communities and Main Institutions. We are now accepting proposals for small group discussions, workshops, and posters to address any of these areas.

The deadline for proposals is Midnight December 21, 2009. Notification of acceptance will be by January 8, 2010.

As the GRMC continues to grow, we encourage all regional campuses to invite their GEA and GSA representatives along with clerkship directors and key faculty/staff to join us in sunny San Diego. We also welcome representatives and leaders from our main institutions to come and learn more about the diversity of regional campuses across the country.
