Group on Resident Affairs (GRA)

Member Services

The GRA offers the following services to members:

Professional Development Programs including GRA sessions at the AAMC annual meeting and a Spring Meeting.

AAMC Publications including communications on GME issues from AAMC President Darrell Kirch, M.D., AAMC newsletters, and Washington Highlights, an up-to-the-minute report of legislative and regulatory developments.

AAMC Data including results of the AAMC Survey of Housestaff Stipends, Benefits, and Funding. Special data analyses may be obtained on request by contacting Erika Steinmetz, esteinmetz@aamc.org, 202-828-6144. Members also can access the AAMC Data Book and the AAMC Faculty Salary Reports, a web-based system that allows individuals who are affiliated with AAMC member institutions or other AAMC constituents to access faculty salary report tables.

Private Web site (AAMC Login required), where the archives of GRA-Infolist questions, an up-to-date directory of the GRA membership, and other resources for GRA members are posted. GRA members seeking assistance with the log-in should contact Otrina Anthony at oanthony@aamc.org.

GRA-Infolist, a moderated e-mail list for exchanging information about GME issues.

Member surveys covering GME Office Staffing budgets; member responsibilities and reporting relationships; and other topics of special interest.
