Herb Smaltz, PhD, FHIMSS, CHE, chief information officer of Ohio State University Medical Center and also associate vice president of Health Sciences at Ohio State.

Smaltz's current projects include inpatient as well as outpatient electronic health record (EHR) implementations, computer-based physician order entry (CPOE) implementations, enterprise information warehouse, IT governance, IT portfolio management office, support center certification and IT Infrastructure Library.

Since 2003, Susan Kroll, associate vice president for The Ohio State University Office of Health Sciences, has led the Prior Health Sciences Library, and served as interim director of the Center for Knowledge Management.
