GIR Survey Committee
This committee will continue the work of the existing group that has
developed our current survey instrument and will identify future data
needs and tools for the GIR. The committee consists of a chair (editor)
and six members, each with a three-year term. The responsibility of the
committee is to:
- Review the survey instrument on an annual basis and suggest changes
to facilitate responses.
- Analyze the results of the survey for consistency and accuracy as
well as trends in activity, governance, technology and costs.
- Answer member questions regarding survey completion.
- Identify industry benchmarks and standards against which to review
GIR data.
- Prepare a summary document for distribution to Deans and GIR members.
- Investigate collaboration with other organizations who gather data
to avoid duplication and leverage results.
