GIATALK

GIATALK is an electronic discussion group that facilitates communication among medical school and teaching hospital professionals with responsibility for public relations/affairs, marketing, alumni and development issues. GIA colleagues can exchange ideas, post information and questions, and seek solutions using this electronic resource.

When a subscriber posts a message to GIATALK all of the other members of the list automatically receive a copy of the message. By selecting the reply option, a user is able to send a message in response to the individual who posted the massage originally. Otherwise, responses are sent to all subscribers. Submissions to the list need not be approved, but to maintain the focus of the list we ask that users limit message to institutional advancement issues.

Subscribe to: majordomo@aamcinfo.aamc.org. In the message box type: subscribe GIATALK. As soon as your subscription is approved, you will receive a welcome message from GIATALK. This message will contain detailed instructions for posting messages to the list.
