Momentum Magazine
Launched four years ago, Momentum magazine is a four-color quarterly
used by the Woodruff Health Sciences Center of Emory to chronicle
and analyze efforts to meet the increasing changes in health care.
Goals:
- Explain how the efforts of the Woodruff Health Sciences Center
- Communicate the center's forward movement by spotlighting innovative
programs and processes
- Create a sense of unity across divisions and between faculty
and staff
- Provide a forum for honest feedback and differing perspectives
Results:
- Readership is high, with an increase in demand for subscription
information
- Used as a recruitment tool for faculty, staff and residents
- Momentum is shared with the Board of Trustees, national and
international media organizations, and policy makers to help explain
complex issues
- Faculty input for story ideas has increased
