USC Health is a quarterly magazine produced by the USC Health Sciences
Public Relations and Marketing department. Promoting the faculty
physicians and programs of Keck School of Medicine, this magazine
showcases the expertise, medical care and reputation of USC as a
premier research institution among key audiences-current and prospective
donors, patients, USC alumni, faculty and referring physicians.
Goals:
- Engage a broader spectrum of readers
- Promote the medical practice of faculty physicians
- Serve as a communications vehicle to alumni and other medical
school supporters
- Help position Keck School of Medicine as a top medical school
Results:
- USC Health Web site had a 400 percent increase in "hits" per
month
- Development office uses the magazine in donor solicitation
- Featured physicians have received more donations for their
projects
- Has been a key generator of referrals for medical services
- Used by the dean of the medical school as an integral tool
to position Keck School of Medicine as a top research institution
