"24/7: Medicine at Yale"
In 1999, the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs, Office
of Admissions and the editor of the school of medicine's alumni
magazine joined together to produce a publication that would
serve as an introduction to the school for external audiences.
This brochure is used in various ways, including areas of
fundraising and recruitment.
Goals
- Produce a publication that would introduce outside audiences
to the school of medicine
- Convey the character of a complex medical community in
a comprehensive and understandable way
- Address the concerns of incoming medical students
- Create a promotional piece for prospective donors
Results
- Faculty members have praised the brochure
- Applicants have commented on the information provided
- Yale has had strong application numbers for the past
year
- The Development Office has used the brochure to communicate
with prospective donors
